Following our call on 9 April, here's exactly what we'd build, how long it would take, and what it would cost. Two options to pick from.
Prepared by Launchfyi for Ben Ward
Five phases across eight weeks. You'll always know what's happening, what's coming next, and what we need from you.
Week 1
Before we design anything, we need to understand what you want to achieve and what your taste looks like.
Weeks 2 to 3
We design in code, so what you see is what you get. No static mockups that look different when built.
Weeks 4 to 6
The main development phase. Every page, every feature, every integration.
Week 7
Everything in place. Now we load real content, tune performance, and run the whole thing through its paces.
Week 8
Switch over and go live. If you're on the retainer, this is just the beginning.
Here's exactly what the new site includes, page by page, and why each one earns its place.
First impression. Tells your story in 30 seconds and points people to the right section.
Builds trust. Lets your personality and W1's 22-year story come through.
Your biggest differentiator. Turns the sliding-scale idea from our call into a proper page.
Herman Miller is your anchor supplier. It deserves its own dedicated section.
One per product, auto-generated from the CMS. Good content here ranks on Google and in AI search.
Proof. Concrete examples of work you've delivered for clients people recognise.
Removes ambiguity about what you actually do. Filters out time-wasters.
Social proof. Pulls in Google reviews automatically and uses structured data for SEO.
Where visitors turn into real leads.
Privacy policy and terms. Standard but necessary.
Need additional pages? Just let us know.
The stuff visitors never see but that makes everything work. Included with all three options.
Built on Next.js 16 and React, the same tech powering some of the world's fastest websites.
Loads in under a second on mobile, scoring 90+ across Google's performance metrics.
Proper technical SEO including structured data so Google and AI tools like ChatGPT can read your site.
Butterlinks is a cookieless analytics tool, which means no cookie banner, full GDPR compliance, and a cleaner visitor experience.
A simple CMS so you and Tessa can update content without needing a developer.
SSL, daily backups, and uptime monitoring all handled. If anything breaks, we know before you do.
Starting 4 May 2026, we'd aim to launch the new site by the end of June 2026.

All three options deliver the same Phase 1 website. The difference is what happens after launch.
Option A
A traditional website project. We build it, you own it.
Hosting and care included in year 1.
What's included

After launch
The site is yours. Any new features, pages, or changes are quoted and billed separately.
Option B
We build Phase 1, then keep building month after month.
£0 upfront. 12 month minimum, rolling monthly after that.
Everything in Option A, plus

The retainer has a scope, but it is not rigid. Phase 1 is the initial build. Phase 2 and beyond is what we work on together across the rest of the year. You always have something new happening on the site.
Option C
Everything in Option B, plus we create content and optimise how you operate.
£0 upfront. 12 month minimum, rolling monthly after that.
